Madison is 27 years old. She cannot read or write and has limited speech. She cannot be left alone. Despite an early diagnosis and excellent medical and therapeutic care, she struggled to learn, often resorting to severe self-injurious behaviors that required multiple hospitalizations. Through each challenge, Pathfinders for Autism helped me find the resources she needed. Madison is happy and thriving because of their expertise! As a founding board member, I am both grateful and amazed at the range and quality of the services they provide to parents like me and the surrounding community. Autism affects 1 in every 50 children in Maryland. It is the fastest-growing developmental disorder in the country. I hope you’ll consider honoring Madison by supporting Pathfinders in their “This Is 1 In 50” campaign by using the ‘Give Now’ button. The more people that know about Pathfinders, the greater their impact. Thanks in advance for your generosity.
